Thomas W. Murray is the President of ITC.
Prior to joining the Company, he was Executive Vice President
of National Bank of Commerce's Trust and Investment Division.
Tom received his law degree from Duke University and his
undergraduate degree from Hamilton College. He has been
involved with numerous community organizations including
the Durham County Library Foundation Board, The Duke Heart
Center Advisory Board and the Museum of Life and Science
Board. Tom serves as chairman of the firm's Investment Strategy
Committee.
D. Carlisle Whitlock is Executive Vice
President and Chief Investment Officer. Carlisle has been
in the securities field for over 25 years, primarily in
trust investments. He has experience in all aspects of trust
asset management including foundations, retirement plans,
individual accounts and common trust funds. Carlisle is
Vice Chairman of the Investment Strategy Committee and specializes
in managing individual equity and fixed income portfolios.
Carlisle is a graduate of The Citadel with a B.S. in Business
Administration, and holds an M.B.A. from The University
of South Carolina. He holds the Certified Trust and Financial
Advisor certification. Carlisle is a member of various organizations
and he retired from the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel.
R. Damon Coley is Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager
Investors Trust Company and Investors Capital Management Company
He received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a major
in finance from the University of Georgia in 1993. He entered the
trust and investment management business with SunTrust Banks and
Central Carolina Bank where he served as a portfolio manager. He
was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation in
1998. Damon is a member of the Association for Investment Management
and Research and the North Carolina Society of Financial Analysts.
He joined Investors Trust Company in 2004 as Senior Vice President
and Portfolio Manager for Investors Trust Company and Investors
Capital Management Company. Damon is responsible for managing
investment assets including equities, taxable fixed income securities
and municipal fixed income securities.
